Not at all. This is one of the key advantages of ceramic tint over metallic tint. Ceramic is non-conductive and signal-transparent — your cellular, WiFi, satellite, and smart home systems work exactly as they did before. This matters especially for mountain homes that depend on cellular boosters and satellite internet.
Very little. We ask that window sills are clear and that furniture within a foot of windows can be moved. We handle all protection of floors and nearby surfaces. If you have pets, keeping them in another area during the install helps. We'll take care of everything else.
Ceramic tint takes approximately 3 to 5 days to fully cure and bond to the glass. During this time you may notice slight haziness or small water pockets — this is completely normal and disappears as the tint cures. Do not clean the windows or attempt to wipe the tint during this period. After curing, clean normally.
